As sad as I am to see it go away again ‘til next June, I love how Summer says Sayonara with sun-kissed bliss on this International Day of Peace.
Tomorrow we will wake to welcome a beautiful, brand new season again.

For now, I want to share a video I found from 2012 of this sweet song that has been playing ever so softly on repeat in my head as it usually does around this time each year:
Plus the extra special summer spectacle an entire decade later at this year's Lollapalooza. Upon my own discovery just 9 days back on the second to last Sunday morning of summer, I sat down on our living room floor first thing & stayed there as I watched, listened, softly cried & sang along to all 52 minutes + 42 seconds of Dashboard Confessional (below).
Felt like time travel. This is forever one amazing throwback of nostalgia. Exceptionally potent. Please enjoy it!
Here we are now, three months later to the day from when we welcomed Summer Solstice.
