I turned 33 on July 6!
While so excited for what's ahead, I ooze gratitude for the fact that 32 was the best age yet.
So many Pivotal moments from the get-go! Here's a quick & punchy listicle of 27 chronological events now looking back:
2 - Contributed to the rebranding of a CBD product line.
3 - Enjoyed the Blue Angels' phenomenal air show from the comfort of our home balcony. *All over again today & tomorrow!
4 - Had my last drink in August on Friday the 13th. Sober since!
5 - Challenged myself to spend 2022 off social media. #InProgress
6 - Traveled to Charlevoix for the first time with Justin & Frida
7 - Collaborated with 8 go-to brands for alternatives to alcohol
8 - Reached & surpassed the first year of Pivotal In-site 365+
9 - Wrote & shared the Roadmap to Anytime, All-Purpose, Evergreen Marketing
10 - Explored Cherry Hill Nature Preserve for the first time!
11 - Enjoyed covering the 4th Annual Paranormal Convention
12 - Honored to also cover Grand Rapids Comic Con
13 - Wrote the second half of a dozen books published last year, including my beloved first novel, Breadcrumbs
14 - Held the hardcover in my hands. Cried as I read my story
15 - Featured in theSkimm: First major 2022 highlight in January
17 - Braved a brand new redo of my past navel piercing on a whim!
18 - Connected with the Founder of the International Human Trafficking & Social Justice Conference, the world's oldest & largest academic trafficking event happening in September:
19 - Invited to be the guest on a podcast for the first time!
20 - Wrote this featured piece for Crazy Wisdom Journal
21 - Enjoyed a memorable interview with the longtime owner of now permanently closed, always incredible Crazy Wisdom Bookstore
22 - Galavanted Grand Rapids again, this time to attend Justin's little brother's college graduation!
23 - My little brother & his wife are expecting their first child, a daughter! This means a very cool life promotion to AUNT!
There were also mighty tough times endured at age 32, like:
24 - Trudging through the dead of winter without wine.
25 - Knee dislocated on Mother’s Day - a most haunting, familiar, yet unanticipated, deep pain.
26 - The other knee dislocated on June 15. Unexpected, excruciating & significantly worse in severity. Still healing.
27 - Spent July 4th stuck in the misery of extreme food poisoning. Quite the unplanned cleanse of a clearing for 33 just ahead. Gnarly.
So, certainly not just cake & roses, age 32, yet the overall consensus still remains: Beyond grateful.
Here’s to age 33 - so new it's still sparkling, yet so far, it’s already off to a magically wondrous start. Could not be more excited for what's to come here, now & in the near future, ever in bloom.
Cheers & Namaste & Mahaloha,
